Former Livewire member, Dom Chiswell is the Head Sound Engineer at The Junction in Plymouth. He is also the current drummer for the Wurzels under the name Leigh Delamere. The Wurzels have just released a brand new single titled “Wurzel Me Up!” The song was written with the help of artificial intelligence.
The band decided to explore this technology, using it to analyze their song catalogue and generate lyrical inspiration for their new release. They also acknowledge and address concerns about AI and copyright, stating they’ve focused on plagiarizing themselves in this case.
The official music video for “Wurzel Me Up!” is also available, illustrating the use of AI in the creation of the song and featuring Dom in a number of interesting guises.
